Located in the village of Vale de Mendiz, in the heart of the Douro Valley, renowned by its Port Wine vineyards, and taking part of the Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Casa de Mendiz is a manor house dating back to the XVIII century. It was restored by present owners and adjusted to the modern comfort conditions, combining the British classic decoration together with rustic architectural style.
The house has 5 comfortable bedrooms, all of them with private bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are open to a private balcony, looking out across to Quinta do Noval and Taylor's vineyards.
Other facilities include living-rooms, art-gallery/music room, games room, wine tasting bar, wine lodge and a swimming pool.
The total area of the property is 1850 sqm, including gardens and a garage. Maid comes twice a week and meals are available under previous request.
