Filipe Cottage is a good sized one bedroom cottage that sleeps a maximum of two adults and two children and is situated in the grounds of Quinta do Vale, 1 km outside of Loule town and 15 minutes drive from Faro International Airport and the coast. The beautiful beaches and world famous golf courses at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura are all within a 15 minute drive from the cottage.

Quinta do Vale dates back to the 19th century and has belonged to the same family since then. All the cottages have recently been superbly renovated to a very high standard. Quinta do Vale consists of four cottages, three of them are available for holiday lets and consist of Filipe, Laginha and Junior cottages, the cottages cater to a maximum of ten adults and six children.

Filipe Cottage is the smallest of the cottages available at Quinta do Vale and is equipped, furnished and decorated to a very high standard.

The large bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobes. The new modern bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC, bidet, washbasin with granite stone surround and vanity unit under. A cot is available for smaller children.

The modern kitchen/diner is fully equipped with an abundance of crockery and cutlery and features a gas hob, microwave grill, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, electric toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, juicer and a dining area with table and chairs accommodating four people.

There is a light and airy spacious lounge area with seating for four people, the seating converts into a sofa bed and TV.

Filipe Cottage has it’s own private terrace surrounded by balustrades with table, chairs and parasol.

Outside there is a communal pool area where you can relax in total peace and tranquillity and enjoy the views of the countryside. The pool measures 10 x 5 metres with a large terrace surrounding, sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs are provided and there is a poolside shower for guest use. There is also communal Bar-B-Q and a covered gazebo for al-fresco dining. The gardens at Quinta do Vale are totally enclosed and laid mainly to lawn. In the gardens you will find a variety of fruit trees such as Fig, Orange, Lemon and olive. There is also a parking area for guest vehicles.

The gardener/handyman regularly visits to ensure that the swimming pool is well maintained and the garden is kept to a good standard. A maid service is provided once a week to ensure that fresh bed linen and bath/hand towels are available. All bed linens, towels and tea towels are provided.

Filipe Cottage is well placed in the Central Algarve for exploring the countryside, visiting one or more of the magnificent beaches, playing golf and other sports or for simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings and taking in the beauty of the region. Filipe Cottage offers guests superb walking, bird watching and a retreat from the stresses of modern life. Many guests choose to eat out and experience traditional Portuguese food that is available at the many reasonably priced cafés and restaurants throughout the area.

Access to cottage is very good, however we emphasise that car rental is essential and this is best arranged prior to your arrival. Car Rental is relatively inexpensive and is picked up and dropped off at Faro Airport.

Should you have any queries regarding the cottage upon your arrival, there is a fluent English, German and Portuguese speaking Manager, details can be found within the cottage.
A comprehensive welcome hamper can be provided if required.
