The apartment is ideally situated in the old-town "Se", neighborhood of the city, within the UNESCO World Heritage Protection Zone. It is thus in easy walking distance of all the main attractions in the conservation zone, and yet it is off of the busier main streets, so is quieter at night.
No car is needed. A taxi journey to or from Porto airport costs around 25 Euros, and takes 15-20 minutes to make the 13km journey from the airport. Also, the apartment is within easy walking distance of Sao Bento Railway and Metro stations.
