This attractive first-floor apartment is located on a lovely, tree-lined, quiet street in the centre of Carcavelos, 20 mins from Lisbon. Supermarkets, cafes/bars are a 2 minute walk; the beach is 10 minutes by foot and the train station is 150m away (appx. €4 return to Lisbon/Estoril/Cascais). Marble and wood flooring throughout the apartment and modern, comfortable furnishings create a continental feel. The sitting/dining room is light and spacious with a large window at one end and a fireplace at the other. The kitchen balcony is perfect for enjoying breakfast or supper with some company and a glass of Portuguese wine! All linen and towels are provided. For those who enjoy GOLF the location is ideal, with 5 excellent 18-hole courses and a further 2 9-hole courses nearby (all 20-30 mins drive). Quinta da Marinha, Oitavos, Penha Longa, Estoril and Beloura provide a varied and challenging variety of courses. There are a further 5 courses within an hour’s drive. Europe’s largest Casino in Estoril, is a short train ride away; it has live music and beautiful landscaped gardens with fountain and light shows. Local activities include: cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, tennis, swimming, walking, water skiing and canoeing. Carcavelos is located around 30 mins drive from Lisbon airport; the owner can suggest a reliable, English-speaking, reasonably priced taxi service.

Prices are for up to 4 people, and can be paid in GBP or EUR. Reservations will only be confirmed on receipt of deposit (50%). The remainder of the fee, including £100 damages deposit, must be paid three weeks prior to arrival via bank transfer. Damages deposit is refundable within 10 days of end of stay, subject to any deductions for loss or damage.
