Situated within the picture postcard beachfront fishing village of Cabanas de Tavira in the Eastern Algarve, the apartment is part of the Quinta da Gomeira development, a 200 metre walk from the village centre and waterfront yet offers a quiet, peaceful base for your holiday.

Cabanas wide range of restaurants and cafe/bars offer delicious traditional Portuguese cuisine and wines at affordable prices. Cabanas beach, reached by a 2 minute boat ride, has 3km of golden sands and stunning views of the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Quinta da Gomeira facilities include use of 4 landscaped and maintained swimming pools, a café/restaurant/bar on-site and toddler’s play area. A skate-board park and tennis courts are within a few metres.

Benamor golf course is 1Km, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima golf courses 4Km, Castro Marim 15Km and Monte Rei 15Km away. Cabanas is an ideal base for exploring the Algarve with regular train & bus services running along the coast.

The surrounding area offers numerous opportunites for visiting sites of historical interest such as Estoi(palace), Milreu (Roman ruins), Castro Marim Nature Reserve, Faro old town. The lovely old town of Tavira, also known as "the little Venice of Portugal" is only 4km away and Spain is just 20 minutes away.

It is also possible to learn to wind surf or kite surf at Cabanas. Excursions are available with local departures to all of the Algarve's main attractions including Waterpark & Zoomarine.

Cabanas da Tavira is located a 30 minute drive from Faro Airport.There are regular bus & train services to Cabanas from Faro & airport. We can arrange door to door transfers from the airport to the apartment upon request. Car hire is offered from various providers at the airport. Seville airport is 90 minutes drive.

The spacious ground floor apartment sleeps 4/6 plus cot, in 2 bedrooms plus 2 sofa beds, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, open plan living and dining area, has air conditioning/heating and balcony.Ideal for families,golfers and year round use.
