B&b guesthouse Description
Candelária is a special choice for those who appreciate something different.
It´s a lovely, renovated traditional house which is connected to the house of an elderly portuguese couple. There are 4 bedrooms, each with twin beds and one family room which has a double bed and one three quater bed, suitable for one adult or two children. Each bedroom has it´s own private bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin.
On the first floor Candelária has a large living room with an open kitchen area. The kitchen has a gas cooker, oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. On the same floor there is a roof terrace with beautifull views over the valley. The garden also has a terrace and some fruit trees.
In the village there are several typical tavernas and one of them has a small grocery shop. Candelária is perfectly situated for those who enjoy walking and the beauty of nature, or for those who just seeking a tranquil retreat away from the busy world. The surroundings are abundant in almond, olive, fig and carob trees and a small river, the Ribeira d´Algibre, is close by.
The countryside offers many possibilities such as hiking, photography and painting with oppertunity to visit other lovely places, such as Salir, Querença, Alte and Loulé.
