Small country type cottage with approx. 70 m² area, a private garden area.
In the hall (8 m²) you find a sofa with possible extra sleeping accomodation for a child (makes total of 5).
The old village of Palmela lies on a hill in the heart of wine country, the foothills of the Arrabida Mountains.
Arrival day: Saturday (preferably) - Other days may be subject to corrections in price.
Due to cleaning of the house, arrival can take place after 15.00 hours (3 o'clock pm) and you must leave the house on the last day before 11.00 hours.
Distance to next airport: Lisbon 40 Km
Distance to next trainstation: Palmela 5 Km
Distance to next motorway: Palmela 5 Km
Distance to next bus-station : Palmela 1.8 Km
Distance to next shop: 2 Km
It's famous for its moorish fortress on the top, which offers one of the best views in Portugal from an elevation of 366m (1,200 ft.).
From this vantage point, you can see over sienna-hued valleys and vineyards flush with grapes to the capital Lisbon in the north and to the estuary of the Sado, Setubal, and the peninsula of Troia to the south.
The region of Palmela is also known for the good wines of 'Piriquita' and the 'Moscatel of Setubal'. Click on 'Palmela' on the menu above to read more.
If you like fish then Setubal or Sesimbra is to visit.
