Miragaia is now a protected zone due to its status as a World Heritage Site and is a jumble of fabulous little cobbled streets that have been there for 500 years. Right by the River Douro, home to the port wine houses of Sandemans, Ferreira and Cockburns amongst others this area is full of life yet extremely friendly with much to do and see, typical Porto, unspoilt,warm and full of character. Inspiring buildings abound. Churches, museums, trips on the river, tram journeys to Foz, boats across to the beaches of Gaia, great restaurants, cafes and bars, it's all there to do. And this a fabulous house to have as a base. It has been totally renovated to a very high standard with a totally equipped kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and a great lounge. Central heating gives the option to visit all year round in total comfort. The River Douro is a minute away and Ribeira which is the heart beat of Porto is just along the river. The locals will get the barbecue going on their doorsteps and invite you to join them for sardines and fish fresh from the morning and a glass of Port is obligatory!

We require a 50% deposit to secure the booking with the balance paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. The rate includes free pickup and transfer from the airport to the house.
