Fabulous new duplex apartment, situated on the seafront, in the quaint village of Cabanas a few kilometres from the historic town of Tavira.

There are two double bedrooms, both en-suite with terraces overlooking the beach. The apartment is fully equipped and has English satellite television. It is located next to an ancient fort and secluded at the far end of the village. The island beach of Cabanas is very family friendly and unspoilt, located in the Ria Formosa protected sanctuary area. The beautiful white sandy beaches are reached via fishermen taxi boat and there is a small beach bar and resaurant on the island.
The village of Cabanas has many fresh fish restaurants and local supermarkets all on your doorstep!

Just a stones throw from the riverside and beach island, this is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday for young and old.

The apartment is light and airy with a constant far reaching sea view from every room!

The apartment is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The lounge and kitchen lead off from the entrance hall and stairs go up to the two double bedrooms and bathrooms.

All the rooms have balconies and there is a large terrace upstairs adjoining the bedrooms.

There is full air conditioning throughout, which also works as central heating, making the apartment an all year round home from home to escape to!

There are three bathrooms, two ensuite, one with a jacuzzi bath and the other with a bath and another with a shower.

There is English satellite television, and dvd player in the lounge as well as a sofa bed.

The fully fitted kitchen has an expresso coffee machine, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob. There is also a microwave and fridge freezer.

This is a very special apartment in an amazing location, great for enjoying warm algarvian winters, taking long walks, dining in authentic Portuguese restaurants and excellent golfing in four new courses in the near viciinity.

Cabanas is at the heart of the golfing area in the Eastern Algarve. A good mix of nature, tourism and traditional Portuguese lifestyle.

The beach is reached by a 5 min fisherman’s ferry trip over the Ria Formosa Lagoon - has beach bars, toilets, showers, first aid tent, and is a peaceful, clean, guarded beach, ideal for children, flying the EC Blue Flag, with sun beds, umbrellas and waterskiing/windsurfing equipment for hire. The Lagoon is ideal for digging for cockles, fishing, bird watching, beach BBQs, and country walks.
Benamor Golf Course is literally a couple of minutes away. Other courses within a very short drive from the apartment include Quinta da Ria/Quinta de Cima and Castro Marim, as well as the exclusive Monte Rei course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The Ria Formosa Nature Reserve is a paradise for walkers and birdwatchers alike. For people who prefer a little more strenuous exercise there is also a local kitesurfing school, horse riding, tennis and many mountain bike trails. Boats leave the pier for deep-sea fishing all along the Algarve Coast.
An excellent commuter train service connects all the coastal towns of the Algarve with a frequency of 1 train per hour during the day and connects Tavira with the twice daily Faro-Lisbon express. The Spanish border is 20 minutes away, while Seville is 90 minutes drive or a little longer by the twice daily express bus.

Tavira is an ideal town for family holidays, the town itself is a charming mix of old and new – Roman, Moorish and Portuguese features abound. There are many restaurants and fish is a specialty. Inexpensive restaurants, bars and cafes abound in Tavira and the surrounding villages. From June through September, there is an abundance of street entertainment in the form of concerts, street theatre, markets, fairs, processions, etc.

Booking conditions are 50% within 2 weeks of request, remaining 50% 8 weeks before arrival. Bookings less than 4 weeks before arrival, 100% payable at time of booking.
